SMART(ER) Goal Samples
By June 2027, I will implement at least three Google-based strategies designed to increase student voice, collaboration, and reflection within my classroom instruction. Using tools such as Google Forms, Google Slides, and Google Docs, I will create opportunities for collaborative learning, student feedback, and self-reflection at least twice monthly as part of existing instructional routines throughout the 2026–2027 school year. These strategies will provide accessible participation opportunities for diverse learners and support multiple means of expression to ensure equitable engagement for all students. Success will be measured through student participation data, classroom engagement surveys, student reflections, and evidence of improved student ownership, increased participation, and stronger classroom relationships.
By June 2027, I will enhance my instructional practice by intentionally incorporating technology tools that promote authentic collaboration, creativity, student voice, and student agency while fostering a strong and inclusive classroom community. Using Google tools such as Google Forms, Google Slides, Google Drawings, Google Docs, and Google Sites, I will design and implement engaging, relationship-centered learning experiences that encourage students to share ideas, collaborate with peers, reflect on their learning, and advocate for themselves in meaningful ways. I will incorporate strategies that strengthen classroom culture, deepen student engagement, and provide accessible opportunities for all learners to demonstrate understanding through multiple formats and creative approaches. In addition, I will utilize these tools to strengthen home-school communication and increase family engagement by sharing classroom resources, student reflections, and learning updates in accessible and interactive ways. Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, I will reflect monthly on the effectiveness of these instructional practices by analyzing student participation, engagement data, student feedback, and learning outcomes in order to continuously refine my approach and create a more supportive, collaborative, and student-centered learning environment.
