Zachary Waddicor is the President and Founder of Riverside Learning LLC, an organization dedicated to providing high-quality, practical professional learning experiences for educators and school leaders. Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts, Zach has long held a passion for both education and business—an intersection that ultimately led him to establish Riverside Learning.
Zach currently serves as an Assistant Superintendent for Teaching and Learning in a Massachusetts public school district, where he leads districtwide initiatives focused on curriculum, instruction, and educator development. His work centers on strengthening teaching and learning systems to ensure all students have access to high-quality educational experiences.
Over the course of his career, Zach has served in a variety of roles, including classroom teacher, associate principal, principal, and director of curriculum and instruction. This diverse background provides him with a well-rounded perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities educators face at every level of the system. Across all of his work, Zach is driven by a commitment to helping educators build their knowledge and refine their practice to better support student learning.
Through Riverside Learning, Zach provides professional development in areas such as leadership development, gifted and talented education, and instructional improvement. His approach is grounded in real-world experience, practical application, and meaningful collaboration with educators.
Zach earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Bridgewater State University and his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Fitchburg State University. During his time at Fitchburg State, he was recognized as the Outstanding Senior in the Elementary Education Department. He is also a recipient of the Educator of the Year award from the Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education, highlighting his commitment to meeting the needs of diverse learners.
Outside of work, Zach loves spending time with his wife and two sons.
