As you prepare for the upcoming school year, ensuring your new building leaders are set up for success is more important than ever.
Riverside Learning is hosting two Professional Learning Workshops for New School Administrators. Ocuring on Monday, July 27 (9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) in Plymouth, MA and on Monday, August 3 (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) in Somerset, MA, these workshops are designed specifically for administrators in their first, second, or third year of leadership.
While the program is geared toward Principals and Assistant Principals, it is also highly valuable for Department Heads, Deans, and other emerging school leaders.
This full-day experience focuses on the essential knowledge and skills new administrators need, including:
The nuts and bolts of educator evaluation
Understanding policies, procedures, and practices
Legal responsibilities (Title VI, Title IX, bullying, and harassment)
DESE accountability and data analysis
Case-based problem solving and decision-making
Participants will engage in hands-on activities, including data analysis, case studies, and collaborative scenarios, while also building a strong professional network.
Cost: Early Bird Cost in you register before July 1 - $495 per participant. Registration after July 1 - $595 per participant.
Funding: Title II-A funds are well-suited for this type of professional learning investment. In addition, particpants can used their contractual workshop/professional development annual allocation, if allowed through their contract.
